What is a damp proof course?
Traditional slate damp proof courses crack over time, leading to rising damp. Our injection damp proofing is a solution to this, creating a chemical barrier against moisture, keeping your walls free of rising damp.
We will install this as follows:
1. We remove skirting and radiators, then remove the plaster up to 1m in height to expose the brickwork.
2. Drill holes at regular intervals in the mortar joins between bricks, then clear them of dust, ready for injection.
3. Inject the damp proofing cream. We use one that is proven to be effective on even the most damp walls.
4. Our skilled team of plasterers will then render over the brickwork before plastering it, to bring the wall back to its best.
5. We then replace the skirting and radiators, and leave your walls freshly painted.
